Kerbside to play with Mundy + new live radio mp3
We're honoured to say that Kerbside has been asked to participate in the charity concert for Sarah Ryan on September 2nd in the Athlone Radisson Hotel. Part of our excitement is sharing the stage with Mundy and up-and-coming Dublin singer-songwriter Fiach on the night.
Kerbside will be appearing in full rocket-fueled, four-piece glory as they did at the recent Castle Rocks gig in Athlone.
Also, we've uploaded the version of Mahal Ko Seán sang live on June Carley's Best of Irish radio program in July. Listen here or click above on the Music Category.
Remember that you can now find Kerbside's music on iTunes and CD Baby.
Party on, Wayne.
Proliferation and new live track
Howya folks!
Kerbside is set to rock out medieval style under the stars in the first rock gig ever to be held in Athlone Castle on the banks of the river Shannon.
We're really looking forward to this one and will be full-on rock four-piece on the night. The gig is Saturday, July 14 as part of the Athlone triFest. The lineup includes other local bands MURV, Makewait and My Fallen Empire.
You can now find Kerbside on iTunes and CD Baby.
Today, the net - tomorrow, the world!
Also, there's a new live mp3 of Kerbside playing The Ex-Patriots (a track from their album, Anything Strange), at their October performance at the Roisin Dubh with Bill Coleman. It's a live recording, so it's a little rough, but you'll still hear that Kim put in a great performance.
Kerbside on new Compilation CD
Dublin's On the Verge released a compilation CD of their favourite acts from the last year and Kerbside's live performance of College Town was included. Click here for more.

It's been a while since our last update, the band has been busy working with new material and fussing about with some home recordings. Don't miss their Roisin Dubh performance upstairs on Oct 10th where the band will be opening for Bill Coleman.
New Album Reviews
There are two new reviews of the album out this month, one from Louise Hodgson at musician.ie and the other by Gareth Maher at what is probably the best independent Irish music site out there, cluas.com.
Cluas says, "Kerbside, a name to be aware of and ‘Anything Strange’, an album deserving of your attention."
Musician.ie says "uncomplicated, simple tracks that coax hugely emotive reactions from unsuspecting listeners"
And the band is just tickled pink.
The band is currently working on some rough home recordings. Stay tuned for more updates soon . . .

Kerbside has just returned from their show in Cambridge this week. The band had a fabulous time playing the Wexford Song Club the week before heading off to the UK. Wexford is a great town filled with ridiculously talented folks and the song club has a class new venue in Finegans. The night was a lovely intimate show and much enjoyed. Cheers to Marty for putting the kids up and Darren for inviting the band down to play.
For anyone who hasn't checked recently, it's still a very long drive from Athlone to London. Fatiguing though it was, it was worth it, as the friendly folks in Cambridge opened their hearts, stage and a spare bedroom to the visiting band (cheers, Dave!). The band has been asked to play the Cambridge Folk Club stage again next March and is very much looking forward to that show.
Stopping through Dublin on the way home, the band played a rollickin set at Sin E on weds night and will be at the new rock & blues venue, Jumping Jacks, this weekend in Athlone.
The band has been toying with some new material and looking forward to a quiet holiday season. Keep your ears peeled for more home recordings to be posted here soon.
Until then, browse around the site, download some mp3s and call your mother, she misses you.
Kerbside in the 'K
Cork, Limerick, Mullingar, Waterford, Galway . . . back fresh from their whirlwind 2-week tour of Ireland (the band played 12 shows in 14 days) to support the release of their debut album,Anything Strange, accompanied by visiting guitarist Jon Koski, Kerbside hasn't slowed down in the slightest. Many thanks go out to the folks befriended in the last few weeks who shared the stage, ran the sound board, poured the pints or opened their living room couches and late night fridges to the band. Such extravagence of kindness is not found many places on this earth. Photos to come soon!
If you were not lucky enough to have caught one of those shows, you can still hear the 3-part harmony Jon added to the group: recorded live in the living room the night before he left, a full-legnth version of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's Helplessly Hoping with Jon is now available for download on our music page.
Well, now begins the countdown to the band's appearance across the pond when they play the Cambridge Folk Club on The Golden Hind stage on November 11. But you want to hear some NEWS, don'tcha? Wellll, Kerbside's debut CD Anything Strange will be available at their CD release party in The Shack, Athlone on Friday, 26 August *insert trumpets here*.
Yes, the opportunity to get a CD for yourself are so close your spleen is, no doubt, throbbing with anticipation.
Some very lucky folks got their hands on a special PRE-RELEASE version of the album over at Cambridge because, let's face it, they're just better looking than the rest of us. But FEAR NOT! The final CD is going to be a thing of beauty, a lovely cardboard folding package with a shiny black LP-style vinyl CD cradled gently inside. All the neighbours will be jealous when you pull into the driveway with yours strapped lovingly to the roof rack. Also,
KERBSIDE.IE is getting a facelift!
